Due to the WIND blowing (it does that in Kansas from time to time)
I just plinked at the backstop at the 15 yard line.
Using the 6 oclock hold, hitting orange pieces of broken shotgun clays was no problem.
Shooting an old box of Blazer 38 special was a blast. There is no recoil due to the weight of the gun. I also shot 18 rounds of JHP .357. The DW finger groove stocks are great. Much better than the factory grips that came on my friend gun.
I also remembered/relearned something I forgot. DW grips did not work with HKS speedloaders.

If you want to stay with a finger groove grip and use HKS speed loader; try the Hogue grip, worked fine for several years for me. You can get wood, laminate or rubber, all work with speed loaders.
