« on: April 23, 2007, 08:02:31 PM »
I have a sb1 receiver that i don't know what to do with. I have 410, 28 ga. and  12ga, usg barrels now. Not interested in 20 or 16ga. barrels. What can i put on this receiver?

A 45/410 or Huntsman barrel if it was made 1987 or later! ;)

tim-

I am not familiar with that barrel: does the 45/410 designation mean it shoots either out of that same barrel or is it a combo package with two separate barrels?

the 45lc - 410 barrel will shoot both from the same barrel , its chambered to take a 3" 410 shell , it is a rifled barrel with a screw in choke for shot shells .

Although not approved I shoot a .22 Hornet off a SB1 platform and many here have used an SB1 frame with a .357 Mag barrel, using .38 Specials and .357 Mags only, not the .360 Dan Wesson's or the .357 Max loadings. If it was made after 1987 you could have the factory fit a ML barrel to it or you could look for a used one and fit it yourself regardless of when it was made....<><.... :)

Thanks for the explanations.  Now that gives me some more ideas to make my guns even handier!
