Aftermarket Barrels
« on: April 24, 2007, 12:27:13 AM »
Anyone tried the "Lone Wolff" aftermarket barrels for Glock pistols? I have a variety of aftermarket barrels in my Glocks. I am a reloader who shoots a lot of lead, and has a cautious nature. I recently bought a LW barrel for my Mdl 17 and have been very pleased with the quality and accuracy. It shoots as well as the more expensive barrels I have in my other Glocks, and sells for about $90! I would like to hear from others who have bought these barrels to learn if their experience has been simular to mine.

I have a compensated LW barrel in my 19, and like it very much.   I did notice the tighter chamber makes a good solid grip more important for the action to work correctly.  Not a bad practice with any barrel, but the supported chamber lets you know when you are getting sloppy.  The barrel fits perfectly, is accurate, and was inexpensive.  It eats my reloads and any factory ammo I have tried.  Whats not to like?
