Where's the cyber waiver form?
« on: April 24, 2007, 04:35:05 PM »
I must be blind, but cannot find it in the new info on the classified or anywhere.  Not selling anything yet but wanted to see the form.  I see the classifieds were updated 2 days ago.

The form turned out to be a bit more effort than Matt had anticipated so for the moment we're letting you post the firearms and ammo ads without signing it until he gets it done. He is putting full time into the new www.pimpnmobiles.com site we're setting up. Matt is convinced it will bring in far more income for us than GBO does. When I spoke with him earlier this evening when he was here he said he plans to have it go live and start taking credits cards tonight. I hope he makes it because until it does ALL other efforts are on hold.

Check it out, it's about cell phones aka mobiles. He offers ring tones and wallpapers there and will have discussion forums to talk about cell phones. Me a night job? Heck I don't even have a day job. This is Matt's baby, I barely know how to make or take a call on my cell phone and don't even know my own cell phone number.

If one wanted to make some money in the cell phone industry, all he would have to do is come up with a way for old guys to read those iddy biddy numbers. I have an old cell  that I refuse to give up that is only slightly smaller than Maxwell Smart's shoe phone. It doesn't take pictures, have games in it, or check my blood sugar level, it is just a simple phone. I once tried to use my daughter's belchfire 500 razor flip ninja phone and found that it wasn't designed for my big ole hay bale tossing hands and fingers. My index finger covered four keys at a time. I understand the marketing of phones to be lighter and smaller, but I'll settle for simple and usable.
Sorry for the divergence, but this one hit on one of my many rants. I am slowly turning into my father!

There are more of us than you think.  I seldom give out my cell number because I don't want to be bothered all the time while trying to work. So I too have to look mine up on the rare occasion when I do need to give it to someone.

And as far as all these fancy dancy trick phones with cameras, i-pods, TVs, depth finders and radar detectors you can have um.  I just want a d&^$%^ phone that I can make and receive calls on out in the country and it won't cut me off.   I use Verizon which according to the Consumer Reports is supposed to be the best carrier but it ain't worth a lick where I live and work most of the time.  >:(

Bang-ow, I know what you mean about those ittie bittie phones.  My favorite phone was a Motorola m70a that I held onto for years until the batteries would no longer charge and I could not get replacements for them.  It was the approximate size, shape and weight of a red brick.  It didn't have all sorts of useless (to me anyway) fancy features and it was bullet proof.   I probably dropped that thing on the pavement a hundred times and at least a handfull of those was off a roof or 25ft extension ladder.
