not finding any yellow gold,but am finding mushrooms,they`ll have to do for now!!

Are you saying that you're not finding any greys? Just yellows.

I wish I were doing that well.  I'm up to a grand total of 2 in 3 years of hunting.  Either I can't find them or I'm not looking in the right places.  Waiting for a decent rain here in western PA to bring them out, as I understand it.  Too dry.

If you live in Western PA it's not just you... In this area, the last few years have been pretty bad for morel hunters... I live in WV, but I've several hunting grounds in PA that have always supplied nice harvests of morels (yellows and grays)... It was too cold when it quit raining this year, the weather just kinda skipped spring altogether... too hot and dry too fast... I only found a handful.

None of my usually successful shroom hunting acquaintances have had any luck to speak of in the last few seasons either...
