I AM LOOKING AT CO2 VERSUS SPRINGER DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MORE THAN 175.00 NEED AS MUCH FPS AS I CAN GET TO HUNT SQUIRREL APPRECIATE ALL REPLIES  THANKS JIM

Go with a QB78 in a .22 . You can tune it yourself or have it tuned, mine shoots 530 avg untuned w/ easy tuning you can achieve 700 plus. They are lightweight  and accurate.   Archer airguns sells the base model for around 65.00 and Mike mellick can get you a tuned rifle for 125.00. Check out Chinese airgun forum for more info.
