Winchester Model 94 Classic
« on: May 03, 2007, 05:20:14 AM »
I have a Model 94 Classic that I am thinking about selling, but have no idea what it is worth.  Can anyone help?

I bought it new in 1967, but lost the box years ago.  It has a 26" octagonal barrel, engraved receiver, gold-plated loading gate, and saddle ring.  It is .30-30 caliber.  It has been fired, but not much.  It is still in excellent condition, having spent the last 17 years on the wall.  Every month I take it down and wipe it off with an oiled cloth and run an oiled patch down the bore...no dust or lint anywhere.

Any info would really be appreciated.

Theres one on Gun Brokers (buy it now) for $895 has a bid of $350.I'm sure it will sell for more than that.I've done a lot of research on this model.Even found a 1967 Winny catalog on Ebay for my collection at $40.I have had the chance to buy 3 over the years.Prices were $450,$525 and one after the 94 was done for $600.Beautiful rifle just haven't got one yet,but I will.Thers always one on GunBrokers just keep checking the pricings.Dave

Picked up a Canadian cent, mod  1967 sounds alot like the classic 26 in. oct. bbl. got it 3 mos. ago for $ 350.00 in a gun shop , this one had been shot , was in 85% or better , yours should go for more , maybe $ 600-$700  plus ,
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
