Has anyone done business with....

Was wondering if anyone has done business with Del Ton?  They appear to have good prices on AR's, and what were your experiences in dealing with them.  Thanks

From what I've read, people weren't impressed with Del-ton. I've never had any personal experience with one. There are a lot of good AR makers out there these days that put out a good product for a reasonable price, so check around before you spend any money.

I'm on my second Del-ton, a 20" 5.56 flattop upper, and all I can say is, this gun is a SHOOTER.  And a bargain, I paid less than $400.00 for this upper, and with a 6X scope, it put three shots at 200 yards into .27" on Monday.  Most of the time it'll shoot around an inch, but I'm sure with a better scope (or better eyes) it could do better.  Del-Ton's aren't pretty, not flashy, they just work.  I didn't even do a careful break-in on the barrel this time, I just shot it, and I keep it clean.  Hard to argue with results like that!

I just built two Doublestar ARs, one a 16" CAR Kit with the A2 upper and the six position M-4 buttstock, I have about $525. in this one, the other one is Flat top bull barrel with a 1x10 twist, standard A2 stock with a used Lepould 6x20 scope mounted on it.  I have about $700. in this one including the rings and used scope.  It is a one hole gun at a hundred yards, even on occasion with my old eyes.  When I bought the lowers I had them serial numbered with consecutive numbers. A local dealer offered me a considerable profit if I wanted to sell them, but right now they are toys.

Doublestar recently received rave rating in several different publications.  The finish on their products is good, and they perform flawless.  I strongly recommend them.
