Glad to hear it went well.  Welcome back.
Take care of yourself, and DEFINITELY follow doctors orders and DO THE REHAB.  It's real easy to skimp on rehab, but it will really help you further down the road.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Glad to hear it Lloyd!  Yes, follow Dr's orders so you don't have to do this again.  IF you might need anyone to shoot your guns..... of course only to keep them excersiced.  I wouldn't have any fun doing it at all.  Ha ha.  Get well soon.  44 Man

Glad to here everything went well.  No shooting means more time to watch Nascar.  Richmond night race on Saturday, good time to be stuck to the couch.

Glad you're doing OK. :) Make sure to do everything the doctor tells you to do(or not to do). I know a few people who've had back surgery, and didn't heed the doctors orders. A couple of them are OK, but a couple more are in worse shape than before, and one(a very close friend) is truly in serious pain that the doctors said will never get better. He climbed a ladder about three weeks after his surgery, and it kicked out from under him, dropping him about 15 feet. He pretty much ruined his back for life.

On a lighter note, I'll be sending you a small package in the mail. I'd say it'll be a while before you get to use it though. ;D

Lloyd,

I have to echo everyone and say great to hear things went well enough for you. My limited experiences with the knife are that if you don't do something stupid (a long but funny story there), recovery is pretty quick to being pretty normal functionally. You may still be reminded of things but you will be shooting and reloading again soon enough. Start with you 32s and work up to your Linebaugh beasts though. Of course if they get lonely in mean time I would love to give them a bit of a work out for you, just need the big brown truck. Haha.

Lloyd'

i hope your recuperation is quick; but also hope you can be patient if it isn't.    i can't imagine having a surgery of any serious nature on my back.   i'm sorry you've had to endure this.

but, you are not alone.   i know other people who have had a recuperation after back surgery.   just give it time.   it seems like so many people are carrying so many burdens at this time.....

best regards,

ss'
