Have you checked www.NRA.org yet?   I believe they have a lot of teaching/instructional materials available?

monveil - since you are an Infantry grad you may wish to consider obtaining copies of the Army's field training manuals on basic rifle marksmanship.  Lots of very good information.  HTH.  Mikey.

The NRA has all kinds of books and training aids.  Posters, and some good vidios.  That is where I get all my material.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

   Also remember..BRASS

   a) Breathe...take a normal breath , let half out & hold

   b)  Relax..not tense

   c) Spotweld..the cheek to the stock

   d) Squeeze..not "pull" the trigger..but squeeze the whole hand

      Also...when kneeling etc....no "bone to bone" contact..

         Yes: I"m sure you already know these things...but this is just for a reminder...

   Just be glad that you don't have to teach them Bayonet..including the whole horizontal & vertical butt stroke series..Parents may frown upon that !..LOL

    ...But you know...I just bet I could go through the series fairly accurately..even now..about 50 years after the training !

     ..Of course; allowances would have to be made for "arthritic" bloopers...LOL

Winterhawk;

  You're right, I do stand corrected..

...But of course, the spotweld is still important...LOL
