Here's two tools that i use all the time. First, it's my loader tractor.. I have endless uses for this "tool" and one of them is to skid logs with it...
And when i get those logs skidded out, i can use my tractor to load those logs onto my "second" tool, my Norwood Lumbermate 2000...
My second tool has saved me a bundle of money over the years, allowing me to saw out any lumber i may need.
Check out the "grade" on this 20 foot cherry "cant"..
and the "tally" wasn't bad either!
Here's the cherry lumber "stickered" and ready for "air drying"..
anyway, here's the lumber i sawed out a few days ago from a white pine i harvested for a customer friend. I have several more to harvest and saw for the same guy as he's putting a porch on two sides of his new timber frame barn (cabin) and i'm sawing all the material for it.
Hope you enjoyed the picts..
