had one of these as my first ever 22lr rifle , back in 71 pais a whopping 47 bucks for it  they seem to shoot forever is it the single shot model? or repeater? i still got the one i first bought , and found one back 17 yrs ago and cut it down for my  son when he was 12  for a youth gun since they didnt make many youth guns in them  days, i cant imagine how many rounds were run thru it, grandkids still  use it , they would buy bricks of 22's and shoot till they were gone on sunday afternoons,  as for price i wouldnt go much  over the 50-75 buck range simply cause  there isnt any parts avaiable  for them, unless yur smith can fix something  on it, much more yu might wantto put yur money in a new  gun, ???say a used marlin ? or ruger10/22, something in that rangeJMO? but they were good guns ,  ;D

i agree with shaner.  don't pay too much and stay away from a repeater.  the single shot has nothing really to go wrong with it.  the repeater has nothing to go right with it.  cartridge carries system must have been designed by the owners nephew or something.
put em where you want em

I thought that the Ithaca lever gun is pretty much the same as the gun Henry is building now, it was also built by Iver Johnson.  Some of those parts should interchange, maybe.
