Got my .308 barrel
« on: May 11, 2007, 02:11:57 PM »
Got me .308 barrel from Bama flyer today. I was loose on my frame, but with the FAQ thread here I was able to shim it up and it is good as new now. Took .002 to get it where it needs to be. I have not attached the permanent shim yet. Hopefully tommorow. Then its off to the range. I'll keep yall posted. Thanks to all for the advice.

Good for you AA. I have been waiting for you to post because a few days ago he said your barrel was tight and would not lock up. I kind of figured yours would be loose. glad you got it worked out. ;)

Whenever I see em on the net, I save em, just right click em, save em in a folder. Then upload them to your favorite free pic host like www.myhostedpics.com which is a GBO site.

AA I just received my 308 bull barrel today. I have the same problem as you. It is loose on both of frames I have. I guess I have some fitting in my future. :(
