168 SMK bullet drop ?
« on: May 12, 2007, 11:57:58 AM »
hello
I just got my 308 12bvss zero at 100 yards with sierra match king . I would like to start shooting at 200,300,400,500 yards and would like to know what type of bullet drop you guys are
having at these distances.
This is just to give me a general idea.
thanks for any help
matt

If you know your velocity and the Ballistic Coefficient of your bullet, you can use one of the online exterior ballistics calculator programs to calculate bullet drop at various ranges. That will get you in the ball park.
Here's an example:  http://www.handloads.com/calc/
