.22 Hornet Loads for the hunt???

I am picking up a NEF .22 Hornet next week for the p-dog hunt.  I was wondering if anyone out there has one and what some preferred loading guide lines you may have?  I have alway thought the Hornet was kinda cool, but the cost of the ammo put me off until I cam across a deal on a nib one.  I guess I will be getting some dies and brass so I can afford it too.

I can not wait for the hunt, I just finished loading a 1,000 .223 Rem rds so I now have to get on the .22-250Rem!

I don't shoot the Hornet but have found the 35gr V-mav and H4198 work very well in my 218 Bee , i know what you mean about $$s , last year i brought a buddys TC in Hornet and had to buy factory ammo at $28 a box , yuck  :o

You shouldl like the Hornet , from what i hear they shoot well and the report is not that loud .

My hornet shoots great using 35 grain vMaxes and a max load of lilGin. Alot of others here like this recipe too.

35gr vmax and 13.0 grains of H110 and will mess up a yote should do well on a p-dog
