REI Advertizement On Graybeard
« on: May 13, 2007, 06:17:01 AM »
There used to be a company out of Washington called REI Coop, with a store  in Bloomington MN when I lived there.  Is this the same company?

The workers in the Bloomington MN store was the most outspoken anti-hunting outfit I've ever experienced.  If they are the company or associated with REI Coop, have they changed their stance?

I'd sure like to know before I buy from them.
Sincerely
Shotgun

There's only one REI that I know of, and they are in Washington.

Should be the same one.  And I've never heard that from the store in anchorage, when I go in there, I talk to the guys about what I need for hunting all the time, they seemed in tune with hunters needs.

I stopped doing business with them after learning they were a major contributor to the Sierra Club.  Now I never had anything against the Sierra Club before, but they have been very poltically active in my state of Colorado for the last couple of decades.  The problem with that, is the fact that I am an ATV rider, and they have bee responsible for much of the trail closures I have dealt with over the last twenty years.  That is a problem for me!
