What are the general thoughts on the NEF Semi Auto Shotgun? Who makes it?

I'm not sure of the exact manufacturer, but I believe the Excel autoloaders are made in Turkey. I think the Pardner pump guns are made in China but I'm not sure.

From what I have been able to discern it is a Verona 405 with an H&R stamp. they get mixed reviews from what I've seen.
