Browning BAR trigger job
« on: May 17, 2007, 05:15:09 PM »
I've got a BAR MKII Lightweight and really like this gun. The only thing I would like done to it is to have the trigger pull lightened and the creep removed from it.
Does anyone know a good gunsmith who has a good reputation for working on these triggers?
Are there any instructions available to do the trigger work, either online or a book?
Thanks!

Slufoot,
Since no one has responded, I'll tell you what I did with my 7600. I sent the trigger group to Alan Timney in California. It came back with a true rifle trigger, right about 3 lbs. I just used a word search when I had to find him. You have to type in his first name (Alan) to avoid confusion with the "other" Timney. Hope this helps.
