I've been loggin for years in the woods in Connecticut one day it was sunny and about 10degrees with 3" of new snow on the ground. I was on a long dirtroad(snow covered) that went thru an old stone wall. I was about 50yds from the wall cutting and dropping trees when I happen to look at the opening at the stone wall and seen something cross the road parallel to the stone wall. The air seem to wave like the movie predator when it went across and it happened a few days in a row to me. I mentioned it to the local forest ranger and he told me to checkout the hillside there. The hillside along the road was covered with piles of stone each pile looked like some type of a grave and the hillside was covered with them. It never scared me away from completeing my job but it sure had me looking around more. I always kept the chainsaw nearby, warm and ready to start/cut just incase but who knows?? And funny I read another post about a sound like logs banging against the trees type noise and I had that happening there too at the same time too. Funny the last guy there left the cutting job unfinished so maybe he seen what I seen too and left. BigBill
