is there any more to it?
« on: May 23, 2007, 11:56:13 AM »
I'm thinking about .243 cases from .308. Is it as simple as lubing the .308 case and running it through the .243 die?
I had an old die and tried it. Worked out well except it was a little tough running the expander ball out. I trimmed to the right length and re ran them and it was smooth.
  Thanks, TVC15

That will do it as long as you lube them well enough.  Also you need to make sure the necks aren't too thick.
