Odd ain't it , often a candidate comes out of no where , runs for office for one party or another . Where did he come from , how did he win the backing of his party ? The party is the only thing that stays , candidates come and go !
Does political machine sum it up ?

If you want to know how it all works, just pay attention to what is now in progress.  It's all money, media and mania, with a good dose of manure for flavor.  It ain't pretty, but it's interesting.  By the time it gets down to the main candidates, we ought to know where they stand.  At least people can't say they haven't had a chance to find out who they are.
