swapping sights
« on: May 26, 2007, 04:23:57 AM »
I recently began reloading for my Kimber Custom II. I would like to replace the fixed rear sight with an adjustable sight so I can adjust the sights for any given load. What is the best way to accomplish this? Midway lists a kimber adjustable rear sight, but I am under the impression that this is only to be used as a replacement for an existing adjustable sight model. Are there any adjustable sights out there that will fit the gun without any machining?

Lloyd: are there any reputable smiths in our area that you would trust to handle this type of job?

jaybird - run this past Kimber.  I'll bet they have just the solution for you and may even be less expensive than a local 'smith'.  HTH.  Mikey.
