7mm-08, 26" brl hand loads.
« on: May 26, 2007, 05:06:23 AM »
What is a good starting point for my Encore?
What powder do you use?
What type and grain bullet?
I will be using this for White Tail Deer and not anything larger.

I am new to reloading but have worked up a couple good loads for my Marlin GG 45-70 if any one is interested in them.
*Remington 305gr HP over 53.5gr H-4198   CCI 200 Lg. Rifle primers  1/2" to 3/4" groups at 100yds.
*Remington 405gr SP over 55gr H-322  CCI 200Lg. Rifle primers 3/4" to 1" groups at 100yds.  All loads seated at 2.55"

Thanks Matt

hey matt. I use the 140 gr nosler accubonds and partitions as well as the ballistic tips on occasion. My load is with hodgdon h-4350. I don't like to post loads on the net, so send me a pm and i'd be happy to share my load info with you.
