Good for you!!!!!! I have been hitting the fields early in the morning on weekends and on my way home from work with no luck so far.

Thanks, I was just sitting and watching the fields for a while, but with the farmers still making hay i had to "jump around" to different fields a little more than I wanted to.

That's really cool! I hope to be doing the same myself. I just need to get alittle better grouping out of my rifle.

the farthest one was a little over 200 steps,  the other ones were all around 100-150, the one 200 steps was the furthest shot i had this year so far. I need to get a range finder.

yeah they were from 3 evenings, i hope to get after em with the hornet some this week.  Thats a bsa contender 6x24 milldot, Its a good looking scope, but its getting replaced with somthing better after this summer, I have a mueller 8.5x25 on another gun and its clearer at 25 power than the bsa is at 16 power, so when i can afford it the ultra is going to get the same glass.

nice shooting on those hogs. Those Muller scopes are hard to beat I have one on my 22-250 and shooting 1/4 groups with it.

Got the same exact scope on my 223 ultra.
Nice set-up I like it.
