Gentlemen on the single action forum it was suggested that you may be THE ruger gurus. I had been looking for quite some time for a 3 screw ruger to convert to .44 special,. i found one. It is an flat top .357 ruger that has a four digit serial number(5xxx) It has been converted to the new cross bar safety ,but, i have all the original parts in a baggie. The grips are black plastic.
Over all the gun is in very good shape. My question's are. What year was this gun made and what might the approxamite value be and, could you suggest some one to convert this to .44 special? Clement's guns was said earlier but i thought i would look around a little also. Clements Guns has a very good reputation.
