Loading LSWC in .357?

I don't know why, but I have the urge to load some LSWC bullets for my 1895 C.  I've been loading W296 and will probably stick with that if I find the right load.  Has anyone had any experience this way?  I just carry this gun around in case I see a groundhog or coyote.

My 1894CP has no problem with LSWC's, unless they're loaded in .38 cases.

296 is going to push them pretty fast/hard probably going to you some leading issues. I would slow them down a bit with some IMR TrailBoss. That is unless they are hardcast with gas checks of course.

I finally got to shoot my Marlin off of sandbags with Hornady HP-XTP 158 gr. bullets and i think I'll just keep that load.  At 50 yards it was 4 shots all touching to form a clover leaf.  More open at 100 yards, but still plenty good.  Getting over 1500 fps with 14 gr, W296.  That's plenty for what I want to shoot.
