  • I hunt hogs with dogs. Any questions?
5-31-07 hunt (pics added)

Went hunting last night with a buddy of mine and hit some corn and milo fields. We hit some hogs in the milo and caught a sow in the 100-125 pound range give or take, and my wife saw a bunch of shoats running out of the field so we know there were alot of small stuff in there.



We went on to a corn field and caught anouther sow. This one went around 150 or so. Again alot of small hogs in the field.



While we are catching hogs I have noticed that almost all have been small sows around 100-150 pounds or so and tons of pigs and shoats running around. Anybody else notice this or is it just this area???

It's that time of year. On Tuesday morning, I saw a pregnant sow with 6 shoat. She was about 125lb pregnant and the shoat with her were already 25 - 30 lbs. Thursday morning, I counted 3 sows, all about 150lbs and 9 shoat running with them. No boars but you know they are out there.
