filler for cracks in old horns
« on: June 01, 2007, 11:23:20 AM »
Found a good set of elk sheds, about 5 yrs old, anybody have an idea how I can fill the cracks? I'll probably use cedar branches to brown them.

Thanks, Jim

I would probably use regular old spackle.  Especially since you are going to brown them, having a colored fill doesnt really matter.  If they are already dried out enough to crack, you wont have to worry about them shrinking any more.
