If you could only have one gun...
« on: June 02, 2007, 04:22:02 PM »
Given drilling and combos are very appealing to individuals that want to own only one gun or have laws that limit the number of guns.  I am wondering, if you could only own one gun for bird, medium game and varmint hunting what would it be? And what calibers?

Thanks
Doug

Seeing as i'm spending YOUR money i'll answer  ha ha ha

I'd want to start with a "custom" light weight Vierling in 16ga.x16ga. - 7x65R and 22Win Mag. with 26" bbls and choke tubes.  Also inserts to shoot 20ga. ammo too.

I'd also want a full length insert for the right shot bbl. chambered for the 5.6x52R or maybe 5.6x50R magnum?

I'd want (2) scopes in claw mounts... One would be a S&B in 8x56 and the second a low powered variable.

Geee, can i get a second set of bbls while i'm at it???  oooohhhh, and i'd also want...................................

I'd say "if" it was new and done right, with the high end scopes and insert bbls like i mentioned, and no "extra" vierling bbls, and no high end inlays ect...,  it would be in the 20K area...

It would be a hell of a work gun though!
