670 bargain

 I recently bought a Model 670 Winchester off Gun Broker...I think I was very fortunate to find one in 7Mag caliber...Most I have seen are 30-06 which is fine and they go for around $350...I paid $340 for mine...Considering that it is a Model 70 action and barrel, only stocked in "lesser" grade of wood, I find it to be a real bargain...

I would agree.  In today's market $340 is a decent price.  A couple years ago I saw several in the $200 - $300 range.  Lately, I have not seen any I would buy priced less than $400.

Yep, they only made the 7mag in 67-68...They also have a 300 mag I'd like to find...I saw some on GB for sale, mostly '06s and a couple of 243's...I'm refinishing mine now and will put up pics when it's done...I think they are a good looking rifle...I took this one and free floated the barrel and it shoots 1moa...

 I just found another on GB  in caliber 30-06 for $250...It needs a refinish but I couldn't turn that down!
 I will post before and after pix when I Git 'Er Done.
