I believe it is a IHMSA round, and wondering where I could find ballistics, loads etc. Just curious about the cartridge? Thanks, Dennis e-mail at drminak@hotmail.com  :D

Ita a 357 maximum case necked down to 7mm.The neck is very short its like a rimmed 7mm tcu.I bought one a few years ago for $90.00 not knowing what it was but the price was right.Ballistics are close to 7mm tcu.

Hello... 7MM Super Mag.. I had one awhile back and sold the whole package with regrets. It is a short necked round based on the .357 Maximum case.. I have data and an article written years ago testing the round in several SS pistols for silhoutte.. I will say the velocities were too low for deer hunting or maybe marginal, but the thing shot great!!! The short neck scared me for a hunting round but 100 G hollow points went into a small hole at 50 yards.
