Calf Killer
« on: May 26, 2003, 10:29:52 AM »
My friend called the other morning and told me coyotes had killed one of his newborn calves.  He said he had to leave on business and was afraid they would get other calves so he asked me to stake out the one they had killed.  I told him that I would be glad to help, I caught this varmint on the body, have a look-

I smacked him in the short ribs with a 250XTP. The yotes around here are killing all of our rabbits and fawns, I am really starting to dislike them

Good job Redhawk. After reading all the posts here where people insist you HAVE TO USE THE RIGHT GUN for coyotes, I'm always glad to see someone use something else. We have so many coyotes in the area I live that I am tickled to hear of ANYBODY going out with ANY gun if they are going after coyotes. I have seen the destruction they do on ALL other animals and don't really care if you kill them outright or just wound them and let them crawl off and die in their dens. I say, got a slingshot? Take the shot!
Perception is everything. For instance, a crowded elevator smells different to a midget.

okay we have calves on the farm, and yotes are a major problem but they are animals and just try to make a good clean shot, or get a gun big enough to shoot them in the leg and it kill them but remember you are a hunter not a killer and this is the kind of stuff the anti hunting activists are getting at.

            just my 2 cents worth

    lol

1,2,3,4,11,12,13 shots just kill the damned things
