Deluxe classic....

I really wish H&R would make a trap/skeet gun with a high vent rib & a full or X-full choke. But since they do not I have been looking at the Deluxe classic with the vent rib...ANyone have one & how do you like it? Anyone use it for trap or skeet? Can I get a extended X-full choke for this gun? Thanks

The Deluxe Classic might be a good trap gun. I had the 20 ga version and was unhappy with the overall weight of the gun, single shot 20's shouldn't weigh 7lb in my opinion (hunter mindset). I shot it pretty good on my backyard trap range.
The rib is plastic, the magnetic fiber optics won't stick to it.
The barrel will accept any Winchester/Mossberg choke tubes.
