Thumb Screw (foreend) Ideas ?

I want to Buy / Make a Thumb screw for the foreend to make it a lil Quicker / Easier to swap in the field... Anyone found something that works before i go to fabricating ? ~Ace~

93 Chevy Lumina Van... Headlights are held in with a 1/4 x 20 Thumb screws, there a tad long but have a big shoulder 1/4" down that sets in nice.. Not perfect, but I got 4 off a junk van... Free :) And it works... And I have an excuse to make sure It did not throw  the POI off :) ~Ace~

The Survivor forearm has a twist screw that you can take off by hand. Some here have called Choate directly and ordered them. I believe they are around $1.75 a piece. They will be a little longer than the regular philips head screw but you can shorten it to fit other forearms nicely.

I got a couple of these at the hardware store.  I think that it is called a "socket head cap screw."





They cost all of 27 cents apiece.
