Scope Beautification Project!
« on: June 04, 2007, 09:54:08 AM »
I'm looking for any information I can get about the best way to paint or coat a scope to make it look better.  I imagine spray paint would work, but I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on the topic.

Thanks,

Number one I'd be concerned about is voiding a warranty on a nice scope.

Here's some links.

Thanks Tim,  but don't worry about the warranty on this one!  From the way it looks, if I went for a warranty repair they would laugh me out of the building.  I bought this off ebay for not much money.  It has apparently had a rough life, but the optics are clear and bright.  So, I'm just trying to make it look better.  Matte black paint job coming right up!
