Well I finally broke down and bought some 30 06 ammo today,and the cheap Rem. corlokts shot fairly well in my Optima elite. I took a couple of shots to get the scope set and then shot a 3 shot group with it. The first 2 were within a 1/4" of each other and then the third one went left about 1". I think I pulled the no. 3 shot off a little,but it was good enough to go hog hunting with. The recoil felt a little stronger than the 165 gr. Hornady light mag. ammo but I did'nt chrono it. One of these days after the PD shoot is over I'll work on some handloads for it. Digger
