Many years ago I purchased a Contender Reflex Insta Sight. It is really a neat little sight with green crosshairs and is very small. It clamps to a alloy base which has holes to match the removed rear sight. The further you hold it from your eye the larger the crosshairs appear. To me the closer to the eye the better. You can sight with both eyes open or just one if you prefer. The sight worlks well on a pistol and would also be ideal for a carbine. Anyone else using one of these?

Had one used it on a 22 and it was great. Moved it to a 45 Colt barrel and promptly ruined it in about 20 shots. The return , on the one I had was a thick closed cell foam and the adjustments would not stay under heavy recoil. Great little sight on a 22 rifle .

Picked one up at a show a number of years ago, but this one had a base for a Colt. Used it on a Trooper .22 for awhile and it is a nice sight. Now if I could find a base for the Contender, I've got a .22 barrel I could put it on.
