Ground blind shooting rail?
« on: June 08, 2007, 03:32:43 AM »
I’ve never used any of the pop up ground blinds but as I get older I may have to give up tree stands.  Do any of the models incorporate any kind of shooting rail to steady your barrel like my tree stands do?

I simply use Stoney Point shooting stix inside my Double Bull blinds and they work great!
An archer tries to see how far away he can get from his target and still connect, a "Bowhunter" tries to see how close he can get to his.

The best shooting rest I have found to use in a blind is an old camera tripod. You can find these cheap at flea markets and yard sales. The great thing about tripods is that you can adjust the height, they're stable and swivel. Just modify the top with a little padding and you've got yourself a great rifle rest.
