Buff Classic replacement buttstock
« on: June 08, 2007, 12:16:46 PM »
Anyone know the cost of a replacement BC stock? I looked on their site but can find no place it's mentioned. Since mine is messed up I contacted them and they say return it and they will replace but I was just wondering what would be the cost difference to buy a replacement and see about slimming this one down and getting it recheckered instead.

Seems to me that someone priced it as the same as the checkered laminated stocks, $67 for the butt and $33 for the forend, but don't quote me on that.

They quoted me $104 for complete set several months ago.

Bill, what is messed up about your stock? Depending on what it is, I'd consider a potential trade for one I've got, if that interests you. I've been thinkin' about putting a recoil pad on, but don't want to cut down a perfectly good one.

Cheers

Here are two views of the damaged area. One is slightly out of focus and much lighter than the other but actually shows the damage better.
