T/C Renagade Value
« on: June 10, 2007, 04:44:29 PM »
I have a 50 cal. T/C Renagade percussion rifle. What might make it a little different is that it is left handed. The condition of the stock is excellent. There are no marks or dings in it at all. The barrel and lock are in very good condition with no wearing of the bluing except around the nipple area which is typical. No rust on the gun at all. The bore is also excellent with no pitting.

I bought it about 15 years ago new. I shoot the Omega now and this one just sits in the safe. I haven't really decided to sell it yet. I just wanted to get an idea of what the value might be. I understand that pricing something sight unseen is difficult, but a general value would still help.

Thanks,
Jim

I've seen folks list them at all sorts of ridiculous prices but when the actually sell it's almost always at the $150-$175 range. I've bought and sold several at that price and the one I now have I think I paid $160 including shipping for and then sold the one I had before it for the very same price. Mine is the single trigger model which I prefer, the one I last sold was a double trigger. Being a left hand model might make it appeal to a lefty but takes it out of consideration for all those who are not.

Auction Arms usually has a couple on sale at any one time. Track a few on your watch list and you'll get a better idea of the current value.  ;)

Everyone, thanks for the information. I apologize for not getting back and responding to everyone right away. Work has to come first so I can pay for my toys.  :)

If I decide to sell, I will post it here first. It's the least I can do since you guys helped me out.
