I used a S&W 357 Revolver 5" barrel iron sights on those hogs. I was stalking along a creek for wild pigs at daylight when I ran into about 30+ hogs feeding my way. There were several larger ones but I was looking for meat hogs that would fit on my smoker whole for a cook out My buddies were haveing. The first 75lb hog turned sideways about 30 yards out I used the side of a large oak tree for a rest and placed a 158gr Federal fusion load right into the shoulder knocking him down then he flipped up and ran about 15 yards and piled up. The rest of the pigs scattered fast in every direction. They were all gone before I could even cock the pistol for a second shot. Just when I thought it was all over One lone 50lber ran past me into a clearing and stopped to look around and I off hand shot him at about 20 yards away behind the shoulder alittle low. He ran about 30 yards and fell over. That all happened in about 30 seconds. Now it took about 2 hrs to drag out , gut, and at home skin the pigs out.I was glad I didn't shoot three of them after that last part!
