outstanding dillon service recieved....
« on: June 12, 2007, 03:56:00 AM »
long story short,  got a dillon square deal on a trade, the buzzer was broken because someone tried to over tighten it.  anyhow,  i finally get around to sending it to dillon to have it rehabed or replaced and requested they send me a bill for whatever they deemed necessary.   you guessed it,  yesterday the part shows up brand new,  replaced without charge or hassle of any sort.   this is why i have bought 3 dillon presses.

folks,  i am here to tell you, new or second hand,  you simply can not get better service and support from a company than what dillon gives.   anyone who is considering a reloader,  really should look hard at the dillon.   my story is one of hundreds; and i have NEVER heard a negative story about dillon.   they make great presses backed by even better service and support.

And on top of that their outstanding customer service program does not appear to be running them into bankruptcy.  D'ya s'pose there's some kind of "cause & effect" relationship there?

I just sent back 2 Square deals that had lots of miles on them.  They rebuilt them, new powder measures, and didn't cost me a dime except for freight to them.

They have my business forever.

They have an amazing ability to trouble shoot over the phone. I love their "old school" customer first mentality. This helps their profit margin more than "downsizing"   "outsourcing"  ......ect...ect....

They have my business forever, also.

My story follows as well.    imagine this    your walking around a yard sell and come across a bent up rusted together powder measure broken square deal.  You buy it for $5   send it and a check to Dillon for like $28.  Six weeks later your new square deal arrives.  Did I say new.  Yes
LUCK when preperation meets opportunity.

+100 for Dillon. I have a newer 550 with the 'Failsafe' attachment. When I bypassed it, I found I needed a spring to help actuate the powder bar mechanism. I called Dillon and the rep told me no problem. I have a strong mount, bullet tray and roller handle on my machine and, while on the phone, asked him how their cover fit. He told me that it won't close over handle / bullet tray and that he simply uses a king size pillow case to cover his own identical setup.
Great service, advice, and didn't try to sell me something that wouldn't work right.
Oh, two days later, three (3) springs were in my mailbox!

They have my business!!!
