44 Mag Ultra Lite
« on: June 12, 2007, 05:55:09 AM »
I have had this gun for quite a while now and I love it. It shoots really well. However, I need a taller front sight blade for it.  These have a small pin that holds the blade in place. Does anyone know if these are available somewhere or would it have to be home made? Thanks
shot placement is everything.

If it is a roll pin, then they are commercially available. You can probably get one at your local ACE hardware. I'm not sure about straight pins.

By the way, is this the 5shot titainium version? I get confused by Taurus models.

The .44mag is a 6 shot based on the RB frame.  There are 5-shot .357 titaniums in the taurus line.  I had mine out yesterday, put about 50 pussycat loads through it.  It was actually shooting really well, especially in double action.  Got one 3" group at 25 yards off hand.  Got two squirrels, one with the pellet gun, one with the -06.. hahaha, good day it was yesterday....
