What kind of kit do you take to the range?
« on: June 12, 2007, 09:34:50 AM »
I'm new to shooting and right now when I go to the practice range I'm carrying a couple of bags with ammo, cleaning kit, a few tools, bench rest bags. The range I shoot at has benches and provides 18" x 24" backstops for attaching targets, and I prep my own cardboard backstops and bring them. So I put the bags in on a luggage trolley and tow it, carrying the targets in the other hand. Then I make another trip out to the truck to get one or two of my rifles. I've seen a few serious shooters with folding tables and various rolling toolboxes.

I'm going to put something together to be more efficient, and am curious about how other folks do it.  Craftsman toolbox on a trolley? Handbuilt wooden case on wheels?
