Contender Carbine Stock Bolt
« on: June 18, 2007, 12:06:07 PM »
I recently inherited a Contender with a carbine stock, but no bolt to attach the bolt to the receiver. I called T/C and they sent me one, but it looks like the one I use for the pistol grip. The bolt is 2 3/4 inches long and is threaded about half it's length. When I attach it through the stock and into the receiver there is about an inch too much and it won't make contact. Am I missing something here, or is this the wrong bolt?

Bolt is too long. The stock or grips have changed so many times and there are so many variations that you could need any one of four different lengths. Pay me  for postage and i can send you a couple different ones.
