Anyone else have 460 pics to share?

I have the exact same gun, but I have the added scope mount and a Bushnell 2x6X32 on it.  ;D

Sure is pretty, now to see it in the rack of a big buck for a mount   ;D

Originally I ordered a Bushnell 320 2x6 for it but I didn't like the field of view. I sent it back and bought the Leupold 2x. I wish someone made a 1 to 4 with decent eye relief and field of view.

Boy we must be totally different, I got rid of my 2X Leupold for the Bushnell.  :D

Why did you dump the 2x Leupold and go with the Bushnell.
What benefit to see to one over the other?
Thanks,

With the Bushnell I get from 2 to 6 power. The Leupold is a good scope, but I don't like the blackout I get from it. With the Bushnell, I get a clear picture all the time when I bring the gun up to shoot it.

Do ya really have to shoot, or can you just scare him to death with that thing?

Great looking toy.

Probably a dumb question, but will that scope not shift with the rings there? My .357 shifted a scope where the rings weren't against the front of the turret. Maybe I just don't have the nerve to torque them tight enough.

Thanks for any replies - I don't have a heap of experience with scoping revolvers.

WL44,
The scope will not shift if the rings are torqued correctly. I have the same set up but with a different scope and my scope never shifts. I have thousands of rounds fired and no scope shift.

There is just something about a revolver that looks cool.  It certainly should do the job for you.  Let us know how it goes.

All the .44`s I have scoped, both of my .454`s and 375 JDJ  - have been creeping when they weren't against the front of the turret -when I have used hard loads.
And I have had the the nerve to torque them tight enough (too much!!!!).

That's an absolutely beautiful gun.  I would love to have it in a .500S&W w/o scope.

Hey Revolver Nuts,
Is that a custom shop model?  If so what are they going for now?  I toyed with the thought of getting one, but that is the first two tone I have seen and it is just beautiful.  ;)
Just another voice in the crowd!!!

Yes, it is from the performance center. It was $1,200.00 and it is a great shooter.

One question, is S&W now making the lanyard rings(you have on your gun in the picture) in blue or parkerized?

S.B. that is not a lanyard ring stud, it is a sling stud, the other one connects to the shroud.  I guess it could be used as a lanyard ring though. I don't use mine at all, unless I was carrying a sling.

Aren't those the Houges for a 500 and doesn't that sling swivel screw into the U shaped thing that holds the grips on?
Does S&W have two different names for these? Curiious.
