Barnes 150 grain XFN .30-30 bullet in my Marlin 336
« on: May 28, 2003, 11:48:33 AM »
I just tried the Barnes XFN, 150 grain bullet in my Marlin 336. I had just added a new scope (I know, I know... but I can't see open sights any more) I used 30.0 grains of H4895. I shot two five shot groups. One was just over one inch and one was exactly 1/2 inch. This was at 50 yards... Here is the picture of the makeshift target, and the Shooting Chrony printer readout: I am really pleased with this bullet in this rifle!!
I want to finish well
I want to end this race
Still leaning on HIS AMAZING GRACE
