paper patching wheel weights

like some input from uyou guys. do you think ww cast from a pp mold would work ok in my 45-70 up to around 1800 im shooting the buffalo clasic

I understand that the bullet needs to "bump up" from the pressure of the charge.  I'm not sure that would happen with wheel weights.  My gunsmith shoots his 30-30 with paper patch and gets good groups.  I'm sure that he probably gets close to that velocity. Don't know that for a fact though.
