Got another nice boar last night

Took my sister-n-law's boyfriend out hunting last night on his first hog hunt, and he had a good one. About midnight we struck and caught a nice boar that would go around 175-200. With good tusks. An exact twin to the one we caught earlier that killed a dog. Except small weight wise. He did not go easy however as we have one dog that will be forced into retirement as he is at the VET right now and might have to have his shoulder amputated due to nerve damage. Here are some pics.

Congratulations ! Nice hog. Do you hunt in Mo. ?  I've ben trying to bait up some and mixed up the formula you gave. Going to put it out on Monday. Hope this old man can take the heat.  I saw the conservation dept. coming down hy 32 near Bixby ,Mo. with 4 huge trappes loaded up and shut but couldn't tell if they had any thing or not. Traps like that were set in the area I want to hunt but are gone now as ice,wind and the forest service has trimmed the timber aND THERE IS NO WAY INTO THE SPOT EXCEPT ON FOOT. dO YOU THINK THEY WOULD BE ALL TRAPPED OUT ? i PUT SOME CORN IN HOLES 2 WEEKS AGO BUR NOTHING HAS HIT IT YET. sO i'M GOING TO TRY YOUR MIXTURE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

I am in Texas and you should be OK.  You have to kill 96% of the population of hogs to keep them in check. Good luck
