Hi, I'm wanting to find a reasonably priced quiver for my daughter. I need the kind that goes across your back. I've looked some, but  $70.00 & up  is beyond my means.

Have you looked at the catquivers?  Not a traditional buckskin quiver but they are handy for hunting.

they are pretty easy to make and she might like it better if "dad made it for me". you can google  or search stickbow and tradgang for patterns. all you will need is the leather, artificial sinew or leather lacing ,small drill bit a razor knife and a couple hours.

Look in the latest Traditional Bowhunter magazine. It has a quiver made from a coat sleave that looks pretty neat.

Another project quiver.  Get a leather coat or even a fur coat, if you can find one, from a thrift store.  Do the coat sleave quiver make a pattern and cut the coat up.  There are kits out they that you can buy also.
